Tân Hoàng Gia Case Study: A Materials Store Website Where Customers Find the Product Before They Call

A finishing-materials store in District 7 moved from a rented site builder to its own website. Customers search by product code, check specs and real installations, then leave their area and location for a quote. With a self-check list for materials, interior and construction businesses.

Tân Hoàng Gia Case Study: A Materials Store Website Where Customers Find the Product Before They Call

Tân Hoàng Gia sells and installs finishing materials in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City: wood and vinyl flooring, wall panels, outdoor composite decking, wallpaper, curtains and composite doors. Most of its customers are homeowners, apartment owners and offices doing one job, not people who know materials well.

Watch the 68-second browse: video tour of the Tân Hoàng Gia website (in Vietnamese). See it live at tanhoanggia.vn. Product and project photos belong to Tân Hoàng Gia.

Before

The old website ran on a paid site-builder subscription, and the store did not own the code. Products were shown by product line only: no page per product code, no size or colour. To pick a product, customers had to call or message on Zalo: what size is this, where is it made, do you have real photos. Every question waited for the store to answer.

How a customer browses the new site

The video tour is one browsing session on a phone, the way an ordinary customer would do it:

  1. Open the site: the home page shows at once what the store sells, grouped by material with real photos.
  2. Search by code: a customer saw a floor at a friend's house and only remembers the code. Typing "7002" in the search box brings up that exact product. The flooring group alone has 100 product codes.
  3. See the details: every product has its own page with photos, code, brand, origin, colour and size. The questions customers used to message about are already answered.
  4. See real jobs: the Projects section has 27 installations photographed on site, filtered by material: apartments in District 7, townhouses in Phú Mỹ Hưng, offices.
  5. Ask for a price: customers choose materials only or materials with installation, and leave their name, phone, area and location. Zalo and call buttons stay in the corner of the screen for anyone who wants a quick answer.

Five steps a customer takes on the Tân Hoàng Gia website on a phone

What the store owner gets

  • Calls that get to the point: a customer who calls has already picked a product and knows the area and location, so the conversation is about price and installation dates.
  • Updates without help: the owner adds products, projects and articles in the admin area, with a dedicated guide video. Anyone who prefers can ask an AI assistant to do it with a plain Vietnamese instruction.
  • Everything in the store's name: the site runs on tanhoanggia.vn, a domain the store manages itself. Under the contract, the content, photos, product data and the list of customers who leave their details belong to Tân Hoàng Gia. If the store moves to another provider, it gets the full source code and data.

Check your own website

Pick up your phone and try it as a stranger would:

  • Within 5 seconds of opening the site, can you tell what the store sells?
  • Type a product code. Does the right product come up?
  • Does the product page show size, origin and colour, or do customers still have to ask?
  • Are there real installation photos that say where they were taken?
  • Does the quote form ask for area and location?
  • Are the Zalo and call buttons always within reach?
  • Are the domain and the customer list in the store's name?

If two or more are missing, your customers are asking questions your website could answer for you.
